Many thanks to all of the garden leaders and volunteers who attended the 2015 Community Gardens Summit! We had a great turn out and will soon have a summary to share– stay tuned!
In the meantime, the Gardens Network has been hard at work adapting and developing resources to help garden leaders with their spring registrations. These include:
- Spanish language registration, demographics, and plot fee chart forms
- An online, survey version of the demographics form, in both English and Spanish
- A helpful “Plan Your Garden Year” checklist
If you will be collecting paper demographics forms, please mail or drop off your forms to:
Attn: Shelly Strom
3601 Memorial Drive, Suite 4
Madison, WI 53704
(All of these resources and more are available on our “For Garden Leaders” page.)
Additionally, a location has been secured for the Community Garden Leader & Master Gardener Volunteer “Match Making” Event on Monday, March 16. The event will be held from 6-8pm at the UW South Madison Partnership office, 2132 S. Park St., Madison. Don’t forget to RSVP if you plan to attend!
Finally, for garden leaders who will host in-person registration events for your garden, we can help spread the word! Please email dates and details for your garden registration events, we will list them on the Garden Events Calendar and Upcoming Events sections of the website.
