Dane County Community Garden Summit

The 2025 Dane County Community Garden Summit will be held Saturday March 8th from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM hosted by Rooted WI and UW-Madison Extension Dane County. Snacks and lunch will be provided with the cost of registration. We welcome gardeners and garden organizers from Dane County and beyond to come learn, teach, and share in the community gardening community. Due to limited parking space at all locations, please try to carpool or take public transit where possible. This year’s summit will focus on organizational topics while introducing and collaboratively planning 2025 in-garden education.

Details of the summit are here, Register here.

We estimate a cost of $30 per person, which will include speakers, equipment, and food.  We suggest a fee of $15 to $50.

Materials from Dane County’s previous Community Garden Summits can be found here.
