The 2026 Dane County Community Garden Summit will be held Saturday Feb 21st from 8:30 AM to 4 PM hosted by Rooted WI and UW-Madison Extension Dane County. Snacks and lunch will be provided with the cost of registration. We welcome gardeners and garden organizers from Dane County and beyond to come learn, teach, and share in the community gardening community. Due to limited parking space at all locations, please try to carpool or take public transit where possible. This year’s summit will include food donation, food forests, and weed control.

We estimate a cost of $60 per person, which will include speakers, equipment, and food. We suggest a fee of $15 to $60.
